1. Service Description

Briefcase ("the Service") provides access to prescribed forms published by the Hong Kong Judiciary, together with original draft orders and summonses, and digital tools for filling them in and downloading them in Word and PDF format. The Service is operated by Just Education Coaching (BR 77225401), trading as Just Law Education.

2. Government Forms Licence

The legal forms available through this Service are sourced from official Hong Kong government publications. These forms are made available under a revocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence granted by the Hong Kong Government for mass replication and product reproduction.

You may download, view, print, and use blank forms provided through this Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not sub-licence, sell, or commercially redistribute the blank forms themselves.

3. No Legal Advice

Briefcase does not provide legal advice and is not a firm of solicitors. The Service provides access to prescribed forms and tools to help you fill them in. The Service does not advise you on how to complete a form, or on whether a form is appropriate for your circumstances.

Briefcase AI, our optional form finder, points you to forms in our catalogue that appear to match a situation you describe. It is a search aid only. It does not give legal advice, and a suggestion is not a statement that the form is the right one for you.

You are solely responsible for determining whether a form is suitable for your needs. We strongly recommend consulting a qualified solicitor or barrister before filing or lodging any court forms.

4. User Accounts

Certain features require a user account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating an account.

5. Paid Services

Paid features include smart search, digital form filling, and completed PDF downloads. Payments are processed through Stripe. All prices are in Hong Kong Dollars (HKD). Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled.

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy. The details you type into a form stay on your own device: the document is assembled in your browser and downloaded to your computer, and its contents are not transmitted to or stored on our servers. The one exception is the client invite feature, where a completed document is stored so that the instructing firm can retrieve it. See the Privacy Policy for the full position. We do not use your form data for any purpose other than providing the Service to you.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Briefcase shall not be liable for any errors in forms, data loss, or any damages arising from the use of the Service.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
